Guided Journey to Cascade Head
Travel from rainforests to sacred headlands
Service Description
Step onto the sacred headlands of Cascade Head, a National Scenic Research Area where earth, ocean, and sky converge in breathtaking harmony. This land carries ancient wisdom—once walked by Indigenous peoples who relied on its estuaries and forests for sustenance and ceremony—and today remains protected as one of Oregon’s most treasured landscapes. Rare coastal prairies bloom with wildflowers, towering Sitka spruce anchor the forest, and the Salmon River estuary nourishes countless species, including the endangered Oregon silverspot butterfly. Your 8‑mile guided journey begins in lush rainforest, winds through meadows alive with seasonal color, and ascends to panoramic cliffs where the horizon stretches endlessly across the Pacific. Along the way, the salt air cleanses your spirit, the forest grounds your body, and the vast sky opens your heart. Ritual practices—breathwork, meditation, and journaling—are woven into the rhythm of the hike, transforming each step into ceremony. This experience is a pilgrimage to find the wild woman within. By honoring the land’s history, embracing its beauty, and opening to its medicine, you’ll return renewed, empowered, and deeply connected to the living earth.
